The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 05/June/2020
🕑 Added 2020-06-05 11:00:01 +0000 UTCSuch a busy week! I really just dove into things this week. I mean, I usually do, but this week for some reason I just seriously went for it.
I got the editing for the first two scenes of Chapter One done, while also adding in some more stuff that I thought of. And then I made a start on scene 3, which I'm super enjoying. There's just some small stuff in there that adds to the romances that I am LOVING writing. Aah guys, I just can't wait for you to play it already! :D
Book Three gets into the actual story quicker than Book Two which I'm also really enjoying. Book Two needed the introductory chapters before meeting back up with UB and before really getting a start on the plot, but this time I can just go full in from the start.
I'm not an overly patient person, so that suits me really well, hehe!
For Creek Edge, I got the character customisation screen sorted, managed to fit ALL of the hair options onto it no matter what base you choose, I redraw that one MC sprite base option that was annoying me, I sorted the background that was making me antsy, and I even started shading on the MC bases.
Phew, it was a lot :D But getting past that character customisation stuff really helped! I'm still a bit unsure how I'm going to layer up the sprite base to make all the customisation options work, but I think I can figure that out now I've sorted the coding for the customisation screens.

For Update+ this week, I thought I'd share a little of the moments I enjoy writing for A and F. That respect and trust they have for each other, even if neither is the best at expressing it, hehe :D

Aah, I'm so glad you're enjoying that side too! I'm having great fun writing the dynamics of the team, and even more so now the MC is really part of it :F

Have said this before but I appreciate the thought you've put into building bonds within UB, and not only the romance connections they have with MC. Makes the world feel far more immersive when all of the characters have their own opinions and dynamics with each other! F&A and M&N have really great dynamics that I'm looking forward to reading more about :)

I'm enjoying all the different variations of friend and romances. It's a lot to write out but it's so much fun getting to explore all the different options :D

Wow Mishka, you are so focused and productive! It's so much better when we work on something we're very passionate about, isn't it? Your updates make me really happy! Also, love the sneak peak! Book 2 gave us such great examples of what the dynamic between F and A is like, so I'm always excited to see a little bit more.

Just out of curiosity. Somewhere you mentioned that we'll have an opportunity to change the love interest, was just wondering which book would that be? My guess maybe 4 or 5? I just want to know everything haha
