The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 18/June/2021

It was so much more than expected but I cannot wait for you guys to try it!! I also can't wait to hear which way your MC's decide to go in this scene...
As I was writing, I actually also thought of something that could possibly come up again and be mentioned in a fun way in Chapter 14 for N's scene, so I made sure to note that down. I love when characters in games reference small things you've said or done, especially together, makes it feel more impactful and immersive, so I really want to get a lot more of that in as I go!
I was talking to one of my readers this week, and he was like 'So you don't actually just have two versions of chapter 8, you have like 8? What with having a completely different chapter 8 for someone who's romancing Nate, then someone who's romancing Adam, and then those guys for their combat versions as well...What's wrong with you?!'
Had a small panic after he put it that way, lol! But two versions sounds more manageable, so I'm gonna stick with saying that, hehe ;D
Now the time has come to make the decision of editing Chapter 7 or diving straight into F's research scene (I mean, I may have already started it when I should have gone to Chapter 7 already, but you know what I'm like by now, hehe :D)
As always, I'm super eager to get to write, especially for F, but man if that Chapter 7 editing isn't hanging over me still, lol.
So I think I'll probably get to editing and get that done next week. Would be nice to get it checked off the list. I actually have quite a bit I want to add into Chapter 7, so it gives me an opportunity to do so before getting too deep into the beast that is Chapter 8!
SpunkyCatNinja has been working super hard on the subtitles for the YouTube Q&A videos as well! And Nai is working on getting the questions and prep done ready for our Book Three Demo themed YouTube vid which we'll be recording next week!
So next week seems like it's gonna be just as busy as usual, but it's all full steam ahead here :D

You're doing great! All the possibilities keep popping up and you do better than most at trying to follow each path and drag them back to where they need to go. I've been writing little snippets myself, and everything goes off on its own tangent, giving me a wildly different story each time...

I was gone for a few months, not really active because of my study, even had to downgrade for a while due to some financial things. But now I am back and upgraded again and I just wanted to tell you, Mishka (and sister), thank you for all the hard work! I am so sorry for your loss too... It's harsh to lose those we love... ): My best wishes to you <3 I have been replaying the two Wayhaven books (and the demo) and I have to say!!! That character development?!!!?! It is so vivid when one plays every book after one another!!! Like, damn, Mishka. Seriously it's so good! I can only speak for the M and F route, but wow. M slowly growing from disinterested to being open about being confused?! It goes so steadily. Of course, there are moments of surprise on the M route, but you make it feel and come so naturally! And F! They are so open and honest and a bundle of joy, but they too grow in the relationship! Growing more comfortable and less afraid of being hurt all over again. Mishka, I am so thankful you create these stories and share them with us. I hope you have a great weekend!
