The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 06/August/2021
🕑 Added 2021-08-06 13:12:00 +0000 UTCWell, I thought I got a lot of writing done last week, but this week...whew!
I not only started A's combat scene AND FINISHED IT! But I also completed the Love Triangle section, managed to add a couple of extra bits to the Research version, and edit up the ending scene!!
Then I also managed to get a ton done towards Patreon content! This month sees Mason/Morgan looking after a sick!MC in Monthly Bonus Content #1, and we get a peek into Nate/Nat receiving not only the photograph but some interesting words of wisdom from Sanja in the Unseen Scene!
I'm still excited to do a layout plan for one of Unit Bravo's bedrooms for Monthly Bonus Content #2, but even not getting that finished yet, I'm still super pleased and proud of what I accomplished!
Not only that, but it felt really good! Like, I was LOVING what I was writing and creating. A's went so smoothly to the plan, but even then it felt like a perfect moment to reveal something I was going to save about A for a bit later...I was buzzing about getting to add it in already!
Though I did also realise that the ending scene I thought was mostly completed for both versions actually isn't :D I forgot that you discover a whole different set of information in the combat version of Chapter 8, so it will need its own ending scene.
Next week, I will be working on N's combat version, which includes some pretty heavy romance moments…I really have packed in the romance stuff for Book Three, hehe :D But then that's what Wayhaven is all about!

For Update+ this week, just a moment that some MC's might get, where A still likes to bring up the fact that the MC disobeyed orders and chose to save them over Sanja...

Taking on an enemy such as this requires fighting without any distraction. No matter what is happening around you." $!{a_his} gaze drops for a moment before focusing knowingly on me. "Or what is happening to those around you."

I love how every time you have an update you find a scene that you were going to use later in the series but it HAD to go in the scene you were working on because it fit so well lol. You get as excited as me and your other dedicated fans about the series and it's just amazing. Truly it's inspiring. Thank you for everything you do. Your an amazing person and author. It's always nice when you feel good about what you've done. Congrats! Oh and good to see that Sanja's potential death can still be alluded to. I have a few MCs whose reactions I can't wait to explore.
