I don't know. I don't see Rebecca sticking her nose into it--she may voice her opinion to the MC at some point, but she is so hands-off with the MC in everything but their "safety" that I'd find it difficult to imagine her butting heads with the LI or the MC over their non-relationship. Well, unless A keeps jerking the MC around, in which case maybe she'd say something if she sees her kid hurting? Might be interesting if the MC could rant to Rebecca about it, given how similar A and Rebecca are in their stoicism and seemingly cold natures (while not being cold at all beneath it all). Like you, though, I'm hoping A gets something more fleshed out with the MC soon. I have a gut feeling there'll be an A kiss in b3, even if the MC has to initiate it, just like they did for the hand holding (mine didn't do that). But I think it'll be a while before it's actually a relationship, instead of just will-they-won't-they angst. Still, I'm betting the A relationship actually happens before M grows a brain and uses some of their supposed ability to "notice things" to stop being so willfully ignorant about their developing feelings for the MC.

A role seems to be attached to the TL at this point. Really hoping A gets a more fleshed out relationship outside of the LT story. Maybe a setup to butt heads with Rebecca over their relationship with the Detective?

Angsty and heartbreaky is exactly what I expect from A and M at least 95% of the time (with an added mean/nasty and neglecty from M), lol. And the LT, but I have trouble making it through that one--it's too much for me, even if I do like that A's more open than they are in their own route.

That's my theory, too, even if this particular scene is probably an F scene, based on order. Hmm... we should all get our theories in on where things stand with all the LIs at the end of b3. And see who's right!
