What does “American” sound like, though? There are many different accents and dialogues Nate just doesn’t have a distinguishable accent from anywhere 🤷‍♀️ IMO, his intonation is exactly what was expected … a result of being proficient in so many languages and traveling so much in his life etc

“American” isn’t an accent, though. There are many different accents throughout the country. There isn’t a formal or informal way to speak in any sort of language

He speaks a bit formally for an american. If this voice is american, its definitely american elite or someone extremely cultured.

@Kringlebert Fistybuns I'd say it was much more...smooth American sounding to me? I'd like to think since Nate has learned many languages, he'd have accents and tones in many languages in order to make his accent sound "indistinguishable" but maybe that's just me

I'm so so glad u decided to go with this idea! I think it's really brilliant and well thought out and the effort on your part is just sweet and amazing! One thing I'd like to add purely for constructive criticism is maybe having the VAs match our lovely UB member's accents! That will really really bring them to life and it makes sure they're portrayed as they are!!! But thank u so much this was so cute
