Chapter 17B is coming on brilliantly, and I've been typing soooo fast just because I'm at a scene I've been waiting to write since about halfway through Book Two, hehe! :D
It really will give a very different look at two characters in particular...
I actually managed to finish up Chapter 9 editing last Friday in the end, so that was a bonus! On Saturday I was going to start Chapter 10 editing, but instead I did some debugging stuff for all the chapters I've done so far. It took ages, but was really worth it to get back on top of that!
Then it was a switch all week between Chapter 17B and some seriously major rewrites and additions to Chapter 11 (now dubbed 'The chapter-that-never-ends', lol!). I've been thinking on some stuff for Chapter 11 for a while now, particularly Verda's dinner party scene, and wanted to change it up drastically. It just didn't suit how I wanted Verda to be in that moment.
I'm much happier with how it is now, even though it's been a lot of work and additions (Chapter 11 is getting on to be well over 120,000 words, yikes!).
But I will be able to get Chapter 17B finished next week for sure, so I'm buzzed about that! Chapter 18 and 19 both have A and B versions, but 20 and 21 don't.
Nai has been keeping an eye on the save system for Book Two, and it doesn't look like it's been added in yet :/
We'll keep checking and let you guys know when it's up though!

It's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK this weekend, so I will be taking the whole weekend and Monday off just to give my brain and hands a bit of a refresh!

Holy crap, chapter 11 is a beast! I'm *very* curious about it, especially Verda's route. My main detective (M-mancer) might not get to see Verda's dinner (her "canon" choice in who learns), depending on how that happens, since there's no way in hell she'd actually *ask* Mason to go on what is a sort-of date with her, so I may have to go back and have her choose that no one learns. And, sadly, the only other detective I have that chose Verda as the one who learns is my A-mancer, who is in the same boat as my M-mancer (she'd never ask, she'd just say she's going and, if Adam doesn't want her to be attacked by bounty hunters, he should join her, lol). Thank goodness for code diving. At least then I can see what happens! I'm sure it'll be awesome! XD

Chapter 11 alone has more words than some entire books 💀 I absolutely cannot wait to sink my teeth into this book and all it’s variations!! Thank you for all of your hard work Mishka and have an amazing weekend 💕
