What a chapter that was! I really enjoyed how it turned out. I am intrigued by this new character, his species and his past. Also, I wish there were more info about the traitors that seem to overflow at the Agency. I don't get how they haven't found any lead yet after so many stolen weapons and leaked info. That's unbelievable. As for the ritual, I would have thought it would be done by at least two agents, you know, just in case what follows really happened. I feel like the Agency is too lenient and lax with their agents even after they understood they have many traitors among their ranks that leak info to the enemies. Other than that, I always enjoy when we have a moment with our LI, so I was pleased with the end of the chapter. Knowing that my LI felt uneasy and worried for me, and the fact that they try to comfort me even after I hurt them even involuntarily made my day. I felt so loved. Thank you Mishka for another incredible chapter, thank you for your commitment and updates

Mishka. You can’t give us a hot villian who literally goes “I know I’m quite ‘shocking’” and except us not to fall in love! Thats cheating! I’ve played through the new chapter multiple times now and just. Many thoughts. Number one. OSTIN. I WAS ONTO YOU YOU LITTLE SHIT. I DID NOT TRUST YOU AND I WAS RIGHT. Two oh. Just. Chefs Kiss to the ROs. Their call (or in N’s case attempted call) before the mission. Them comforting an MC who’s freaking out. So so good. Also I loved how the MC could figure out something was wrong in different ways depending on their stats! It felt so cool and natural for my combat and high by the book MC to notice that the exits were blocked compared to my supernatural and magic nerd deduction and research MC to notice the ritual was weird! It really gave each of my MCs different reasons to react to what was wrong. My combat MC just pointed it out and tried to get it fixed thinking it was a mistake. My high people and research MC, who already had bad vibes, tried to make a run for it. It’s just super cool to have those differences! Oh. And Li-Sar. Just. So good. I am so hyped for this villain. My F-mancer wants to *fight* I don’t think she even has picked up on the very obvious flirting that Li-Sar was throwing at her, unlike my A-mancer who picked up on it and, like, thank goodness *someone* here has good taste and is making a move 😤 Tho the murder was kind of a mood killer (ha). I actually want to do the villain romance with my M-Mancer so it’s funny to see him go from kinda into it when he’s not romancing M to very very concerned. I am so so hyped for this book!!! I think my only note (which is actually a chapter one thing) is that my M-mancer is on the best friend path with N and it’s a tad strange for N to go “I haven’t seen you in so long!” When N is the one who interrupts them earlier, but that’s a pretty small thing. Over all. Amazing. I loved it so much and will probably go read it again right now!

It isn't too often the emotional parts of this game actually get me emotional (other than pissed off or frustrated, anyway, lol), but that scene with M at the very end? You got me teary-eyed, Mishka! Dezh doesn't get freaked out or scared or lose it too often, but hurting Mason gave her a panic attack. Between that and Mason's soft order of "Didn't I just tell you to look at me, sweetheart?" and how he didn't hesitate to touch her after she had just freaking *fried* him made both her and me cry. Mason may not have said it yet, but it really does feel like they're committed to each other now, and he's not fighting it. I'm just afraid you're going to hit us M-mancers in the gut with another slam pig sledge hammer again! 😭 Btw, the villain is hot. I'm half-tempted to go back and play the A route just to watch this dude torture A into pulling the stick out of his ass, lol. And I'm really going to be pissed off when the MC loses these cool new powers, especially if she goes through the trouble of trying to learn how to use them. It'd be nice to be able to kick some ass like a supernatural for a change.

I’ve noticed F is always so much calmer and decisive when it comes to the love of their life 😭 N and A’s were both so emotional and supportive in v different ways. And it honestly felt like kind of a pivotal moment in M’s route. Juicy stuff all around!!
