Hey Nick just wanted to give a little clarification on the stand name changes, they have to get changed (censored) this part of jojos because in part 3 every stand was based of the different Tarot cards. While this time around (and going onwards till this day in the manga) each stand is named after either a big music artist from any time or one of there songs. For example Crazy diamond is a reference to a Pink Floyd song named “Shine on you Crazy Diamond”!

I’ve been a jojos fan for 10 years and seeing everyone cry about the censorship and localized names is genuinely sad. Yes they are iconic, yes they sound wayyy cooler than the changed names. But the story really doesn’t change that much at all all key moments are exactly the same and he’s going to get the SAME exactly experience. So how about we all stop crying and just enjoy jojos 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

I forgot how... passionate the Jojo community can get lol. I agree the censoring, both in subtitles and visuals, don't really impact the experience in this part but really only in this part. I was not super sold on Part 4 until this arc so I always enjoy people getting into this part's narritive and the world expanding. Excited for more, though I recommend going emote only if you're reacting live again lmao.
