The large majority of you are awesome people and I’m happy to share the game with you, fix it, add stuff.
Sadly because of one extremely selfish person, most of you will suffer and that hurts.
Sadly as per a request from a friend, I will be removing their artwork from the game. This will entail a long list of things that won’t be coming back.
It hurts me to do something like this. But it is their wishes and I will respect that. (Note: DO NOT go after them, they did nothing wrong. They did me a solid and created stuff for me. There’s only one person to blame and they were the one that released it for free on a pirated site.)
So updates for both games will be delayed until I get this sorted. Wanted to have something cool out for Christmas but alas, that won’t be happening.
Sorry everyone. I’m going to be looking at other methods of distribution… although, the drive to do anything has plummeted really fast…

Hello, I am sorry to say that, but I discovered your game because of the leak, and sorry, you can ban me of your patreon if you want. But before, let me tell you, I support a lot of games on subscribestar and patreon, because I could try them with it's full potential, and those that interest me, I pay for it, either here, or in Subscribestar or even buy the games in steam. So yes, pirating games is bad, but it is a good way to learn some good subscribers. I join Res Lee on what he/she said. I advise you to join this site, and claim this game as yours, and give a free version to people there, and make something special for your patreons (a new character for exemple) only for patreons, or anything that could attract new patreons. Someone asked for your game, why ? Because he couldn't join patreon because of his country's restriction. So, I think you need to think about the benefit of this piracy, because I joined "because" of it, maybe.

I hate to see workers of creativity stall because of pirates, so allow me to play devil's advocate here... Firstly, content piracy is a potential boon to creators because: 1) It helps creative products reach a much wider audience and some of them end up paying; and 2) Some creative products reach a critical mass of following (eg., Game of Thrones) because of piracy. Which brings me to the second point: Creators can only manage piracy, they're a fact of existence. Some offer delayed free access. Others offer a say in content development. I've seen one who tried to provide individual access codes to unlock the game. Thirdly, there are ways to reward staunch supporters. These include intensified engagement, in-game memorialisation, special content... Fourthly, you shouldn't let pirates ruin your day. If money is your main motivator, then do get over it quickly and manage this project like a business. If passion is your main motivator, I'd say the pirate has done you a great favour. Here's someone who thinks highly enough of your work to ask others to try it - and now you've the opportunity to gauge the reach and reception of your work. Now of course all these lemonade-making is void if said pirate is trying to commercialise your work. Lastly, I don't know what your arrangement with the artist is but ordinarily a pirate leak wouldn't affect his or her willingness to provide art, unless it was provided under certain conditions. To probe further is frankly none of my business, but you might want to be a little bit more open about what's going on if you value your supporters as much as you claim...
