Sorry for the silence! Work has been a mighty pain in the backside so i've been slowly fixing up bugs from v8.2 in the meantime.
There were multiple updates to a lot of core scripts which broke stuff (no shocker really) and then a few dumb bugs i created all on my own!
Buttttt, it should all be working nicely now (I hope...)
So without further ado!

There's alot of new variables, so they need to be initialised and carrying over saves means they won't.

There's also an issue with Lilith's shop at the moment. I'm very aware of it, but it's taking a lot longer to fix than I wanted it to. Once it is, I'll post a "hotfix" that you can just copy over to have it work.
As for v9, the consesus seems to be: "Fix it all up so it's less broken in future"
So the content will be a little light... Mostly focused on bug fixing and tweaking to hopefully bring a much better experience.

Do you think you would be able to release a sandbox or cheat tool kit? Such as being abel to give/take size from main character or contestants etc? Force alliance's, give cards etc?

Yeah. It’s odd cause that file is in the game. Not sure why it causes it, and clicking past it affects nothing

Okay, got you. Also, is it normal behavior for the game to tell the file "img/CGC/bases/Default.png" failed to load on startup?

Oh they are still there. Just not from the beginning. You have to unlock them from a side event

I noticed some card packs like the succubus one aren't present anymore in V.8.3. Will they return in the future?

Thx a bunch Nick. Love the trust you have in all of us, but allow me to be the word of caution. You said this one is not password protected, but in the next updates I think it is better if you do password them. I say this cause I was heartbroken when the game was leaked when Orochi was helping you with it. Still thank you and I'll jump onto it as soon as I can.
