🕑 Added 2024-02-24 06:44:37 +0000 UTCDay by day, I'm gently and carefully converting the draft right into the game. A little behind my schedule, so to speak, but nothing critical. So there's not much to report, the work is moving forward, and I've already exhausted my limit of hints and minor spoilers for the upcoming update.
This episode contains quite a bunch of new stuff I haven't done before, but the experience will come in handy. Especially in the next chapter... But let's not get ahead too much. Another remarkable thing I noticed is the size of the game. Most of it is taken up by in-game maps. Just so you understand, the game will one-time "gain weight" from 50 to ~75 MB. Yep, in just one update. Sure, in the era of 150 GB gaming, that's nothing, but to me, it's quite a remarkable growth.
As for the specific date... Yes, the update will come out in March, I am determined to make it happen. But there are many days in March... So if you want a specific date - let it be March 31, the last day of the month. On the one hand, I'm going to use the entire designated time frame to add as much content as possible. On the other hand, from a plot perspective, it's important to "drag" this episode to one very specific scene. After which I can put a meaningful pause, like, you know, the update's end and a few words from me. The usual stuff.
So that's the plan. By early March (or so), implement the draft up to ~ 220 pages into the game (what I'm busy with right now). And spend the rest of the month adapting (and some reworking, it's needed there) another ~ 60 pages of draft, plus writing about the same amount more. And implementing it all into the game, of course. Somewhere I still have to "squeeze in" the time for testing, this episode is going to be quite demanding in this matter... But everything should be ready by March 31st. That's the plan.

Oh, stop it, I'm already blushing xD As for the update, it's still taking a lot longer than it should. For one thing, it has a much more advanced movement system than the last update. That has a big impact on the working speed. I'm even a little worried that some players might get confused with the navigation. This is even though the location isn't thaaaat big. Actually, the one-time increase in the weight of the game reflects just that, because the bulk of this increase is exactly because of the new maps. Overall, I'll probably waive this "free roam sequence" in the coming updates, it should bring the update schedule back to the "update every two to three months" pattern. Okay, enough talk. I have at least 2 scenes scheduled to be added to the game today. Off to work.

Well, I believe I understand what it means, when you say that for you the growth of the Inner Empire is quite remarkable. Yes I say it honestly; I wouldn't want to be in your place, dude... Not everyone realizes how much hard work you have as a solo developer, I guess??? Because here it is: all this hours of creative writing (then translation into English), layout, the programming part, the coding system, the reliability tests against these nasty bugs, the creation of the cards + images, and I don't know what again........... [๐คฏ] Frankly, great respect to you for all this! But ultimately it's worth it, isn't it my friend?&? I would add that one of the reasons that made me decide to become a patron of your game, is precisely the fact that you are an independent creator (that really matters a lot to me). Of course I don't forget the overall quality of the project and its universe which are excellent, but you're probably starting to get used to what people repeat to you how good is your amazing game, right? Okay, let's move on that. Anyway, as I said previously you can count on my support, and so I wish you good fortitude to you for the rest of your game!&! PS/ Even if I carefully chose the pseudonym for myself, I thought maybe it would suit you perfectly yours too. But as a PROUD LONE WOLF;-๐บ), I suppose so?
