What do you think about secondary plotlines?

In other games, there are scenes where MC isn't present, and where other characters discuss events that aren't directly related to the MC at the moment, but expand the universe of the game and gives you a deeper look into other character personalities.
In contrast, this means less MC screen time, slower story progression, and multiple perspectives to the story, instead of just MC's.
We'd love to hear your thoughts about this.

I do like the idea of this as it makes the world way more interesting and that the world is still moving without the mc. I always prefer story and games when the world is bigger then the mc. secondary plotline sounds good. if other people having sex without the mc. i think it should be optional as for me i like it to be believable that the world/girls don't just make it mc all the time.

agreed. Broad story telling is good for alot of stories but with the mystery aspect i feel like the player should be just as in the dark as the mc. It would be cool to have plotlines running in the background that the MC only later figures out, for eg Dylan and Chloe get into an argument and the MC only learns about it after etc

Private aspect of characters. Maybe sexy scenes between girls (no males).

If it is a naked scene or a private aspect of the girls, then it is a good idea! If you are referring to a sex scene with someone other than the MC, please don't do it. Which one are you thinking of adding?

Depends on how the scenes fit into the storyline as well as we don't see other characters having sex that may negatively and emotionally impact the MC, like for example, Sam and Lily or Julia with another boy or smth else

Expanding the Universe of the Game is very good! It can get boring always seeing things from the MC perspective. It is also a ++++ if the non-MC scenes are sex/intimate scenes, that adds spice and variety to the game (much like one-off encounters).... And, for that matter, switching the perspective to one of the non-MC regular characters from time to time, adds a very nice flavor too (including in sex scenes)!

Considering the nature of the mystery plotline, I feel if you make the player aware of things the main character hasn't discovered, you risk writing choices that a player would know to make that the MC wouldn't. Conversely, you may end up writing the MC making what is a reasonable choice from their perspective that the player knows is a bad idea. To be fair though, these are just risks, not guarantees.
