The lowdown on yesterday's mission (for my top tier subscribers)...
🕑 Added 2020-04-12 16:20:02 +0000 UTCLet me share with you a little bit on yesterday's adventure: "The Lockdown Mission" (delivering essential items without using a single road)
The plan was to deliver some essential items (mainly food) to my Granddad, mom and Nan, who each live in separate locations in and around Aldridge, my hometown, and a predominantly urban area on the outskirts of the West Midlands. The catch was, I had to do it entirely off road, using a route no man has ever taken before and ever will again. The route would weave it's way through alley ways, golf courses, quarries, canals, railway tracks, woods, streams and fields before hopefully finally ending up in my Nan's back garden in nearby Rushall. If it weren't for my knowledge of the local area, built up through years of childhood exploration and mischief, and a mastery of Google earth, I would deem this route impossible.
Because Britain is on a lockdown (of sorts), and social distancing is important and staying at home preferable, I aimed to complete the challenge in 3 hours, not go within 10 metres of anyone, and hopefully not be seen. The problem with that was, it was Easter Saturday and the hottest day of the year so far. Everyone was out, and I would find it hard to keep hidden whilst traversing in places I wasn't meant to be in. This, along with the brambles and stinging nettles, which are growing larger by the day, tall metal fences, designed to keep people out, and undercover police on the look out for people breaking the rules, there was plenty of things that could slow me down or even end my trip.
I don't want to give too much away, but it was a very eventful and hilarious mission. So much so, that I'm diving straight into the editing.
Hope you are all doing ok. Much love, Tom.

Tom, on your twitch stream you mentioned a potential Norway straight-line mission. If you have any questions regarding terrain, animal life, weather, phone service, whatever else I'd be happy to help. Same goes for any practical help you might need if this were to ever come to pass.
