The Lockdown Delivery Mission (No roads challenge) PART 1
🕑 Added 2020-04-24 18:00:02 +0000 UTCHere it is everyone:
Part 1 of a two part series in which I attempt to weave my way through the back alleys, quarries, factories, golf courses, swamps, woods and fields of Aldridge, putting my neck on the line to deliver essential items to my Granddad, Mom and finally Nan.
As I leave the fields and enter the urban area of Aldridge, several tall, sharp obstacles threaten to impale me and my rucksack, but it was something far more innocuous that caused a rather unfortunate bag malfunction, and in the worst place possible.
Part 2 (Release date: Friday 1st May) sees me tackle the industrial estates, canals, dodgy woods and questionable smelling streams that stand between me and my Nans house, and it won't be lacking in action.
Thank you to everyone who signed up to watch this series. You're literally enabling me to create this type of content and I love you all for it. I really hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.

Terrific video mate, thanks for sharing! Hope your family is all staying safe

In the United States right now golf courses are open and booming with business despite the lockdown. It's infuriating. I'm glad to see that things in the UK are much saner.
Dylan Greer
Cannot wait for part 2 Tom, I just want to say a massive thanks for keeping lockdown bearable for me and undoubtably everyone else on here
Oliver Adkins
Amazing video as usual! Looking forward to part 2

Simon Fox

Well worth signing up for mate, absolutely love your content and its really inspired me to take on more adventures in my life, while thats on pause at the moment its great living it at least a little bit through you💪 sorry to say i did chuckle at your nans milk breaking though, poor thing
George McKenna
Aldridge, whilst technically still Birmingham, is pretty far from the city centre, so fairly rural compared with your average "borough of Birmingham" location. I say that as someone who went to school not far from Aldridge.
Shoon
Superb editing! Loved the real time google maps thing in the top corner
Daniel Coates
Say’s he’s from Birmingham, yet there’s way too much green space for what I remember of Birmingham, and I lived near the Lickeys 🤔
Ben J
Cheers Tom! Gonna watch tonight with my roommate. We’ve followed each mission series with bated breath and ample beer. Thanks for blessing our quarantine

Usually I would really stress out at such a disaster, and I kind of did at first, but in the end I just wrote it off in the name of comedy..
tom davies
Thanks Josette :)

tom davies
Means a lot dude. Thanks for your on going support.
tom davies
Thanks Russell! stoked that you like all three series and thanks for your kind words!
tom davies
Yeah that may well be the case, but posting it publicly it would have a far higher chance of being noticed by them. I also think they'd go easier on me in terms of potential future sanctions on my channel. If they take it down, I'll have to upload to Vimeo and repost on here. Thanks a lot for supporting Simeon!
tom davies
Cheers Ivan! Timeslip is a banger by the way..
tom davies
Thanks for supporting Rob!
tom davies
Thanks Alistair! Hope you enjoy part 2!

tom davies
Thanks for your comment Ben. So glad you enjoyed it, your support goes a long way. Here's to part 2!
tom davies
Haha "chemical mess" ..that it was. Messes like that usually stress me out but I was happy to write it off in the name of comedy.
tom davies
Probably a smidgen of all three Francois. I walk on the tracks so you don't have to. Thanks for signing up! Cool name by the way. Very French.
tom davies

EJL
Tom I'm so glad your production values are so high when you put out these awesome vids! Good video quality, catchy music that fits the scenes perfectly, and cool mini-map. It's like an adventure video game from the 90's! You really set yourself apart from most creators.
EJL
The milk mixed with the sterident tablets that are used to clean dentures. The tablets fell out of their packaging into the bag.
EJL
I'm guessing it's ultra-pasteurized milk, which is heat treated more than regular pasteurization does. That makes it last 1 - 1.5 months in the fridge. We buy it all the time (tastes identical to regular milk).
Jackson M-B
Hell yes this is awesome What exactly was in the milky froth? Why was it blue?
Jennifer Partlow
oh my its all crushed now what is heated milk never heard of it b4
Russell Cox
Another great vid, enjoyed it, already watched your Wales vids again, now watching the (how not to) travel Europe again, great and infectious storyteller]
Simeon Costello
Nice one Tom, loved it! I might be wrong but I think even if your video is unlisted on YouTube, same rules apply. If you were worried about being demonitsed because of the railway lines it could still happen
Ivan Lychkov
Amazing!! The music is great too. Noticed a little mistake in the captions: at 16:10 "penetrable" instead of "unpenetrable"
Robert Sanders
Awesome cant wait to watch it, thanks!
Danny Randell
I did not see that milk spill coming lol
Danny Randell
Nothing prettier than England in the springtime
Alistair Nalle
Great work Tom! Excited for part 2.
Dom
Despite saying my old school school was shit this was still a great video!! Seeing my old school field brings back so many memories lol
Andrew Berridge
Corrrr another cracking video! Loving it.
Limbo
Class video isn't it. Hope you are doing well Vegard. Speak soon.
Vegard Skybakmoen Kremmervik
And there it is. Love it Tom.
Ben Tydeman
Absolutely, great little addition to the already great videos.
Ben Tydeman
Really enjoyed that Tom! Looking forward to the second part, couldn't help but laugh when you joked about breaking the milk and it actually happening 😂 Really is very very entertaining you doing these challenges/missions, something that I've rarely seen or even thought about before! My first taste of Patreon was definitely worth it even for one video.
Sam Wiström
I got legitimately sad when you squashed your nan's milk and steridyne into a chemical mess. Hopefully something good comes out of it in the end.
François Sreeves
I think he hold him that he wasn't allowed to stop and have a picnic!
François Sreeves
Tom, are you brave? Crazy? Foolish? or all of the above? But honestly this is brilliant! So entertaining doing something that I would never have the guts to do myself!! You are the only Patreon ive signed up to currently but well worth it for this video alone!
jeremie
Really nice video as usual, and thank you for the subtitles ! (from a foreigner)
Jason Barr
What did the guy at the golf course tell you? you're not allowed to pick it? shame about the milk but another good adventure!
Jay Ramos
Awesome video, me and the misses been excited for this for ages! Thanks Tom, will be upgrading to the 2nd tier when back to work.
Gabe Whittaker
Made a patreon immediately as soon as I saw your video, and you're totally someone I wanna support! Love your patreon and the Vasya and Mikhail adventure, I'm glad I paid. Cheers Tom!
Steven Hocker
Enjoyed the effort you put in to track your location live on the map, looking forward to part 2
Coen Bust
I hope there's going to be some angry farmers!

Cheers, Tom. Another top tier piece of content.
Mydaboom
Great video! Loved the addition of the map in the corner.
Matt Wits
I love that your adventures feel so nostalgic with it's 8 bit music and aspect ratio. Only thing missing is an old TV and your episodes on VHS. Much love..
Charlie wood

tom davies
