I went for a quiet drink in a sleepy Swiss town.....
🕑 Added 2020-05-18 13:24:41 +0000 UTC#5 in the Barcelona to Berlin throwback series from the summer of 2016.
A quiet beer in a sleepy Swiss town takes an unexpected turn which ultimately leads to a choir chanting my name and a canyoning expedition in one of Europe's most breathtaking gorges.
Drink sensibly kids.

Haha I really don't know how that happened. Check out my comment above to Robert to answer your first question ^^ ...I aim to make a few videos where I'm telling stories about previous trips whilst walking through the countryside. There must be a few I can use from this trip. There wasn't enough of a point, a reason or rhyme to this trip unfortunately, although I had wanted it to include as many modes of transport as possible originally. I just hadn't got my act together enough at the time! No no Greg didnt need any convincing! he's always up for an adventure!

Good question Robert. I had planned to make a series out of this trip and upload it to YouTube. I had 15 hours of footage, some of it good, some of it lacking in quality and stories. I also wasn't happy with my narration. I was often hungover and lacked the willpower or confidence to do daring things and interact with people. On top of this, I had full time jobs and editing it all up would have taken months and months, and I didn't feel it was worth while. Only now have a looked back through the footage and decided that actually, a lot of it is salvageable and there are some good stories here! This one needed a bit of narration to explain what was going on though. Thanks Robert!

Anyone else crack up at the 6:37 mark with the "almost had a heart attack, but pulled through" line? Or was it only me haha. Thanks for the upload Tom :D

Legend having your name sung in a beer hall. Was this never posted because main content involving GeoGuessr or meant for another channel originally? Would love a BTS vidΓ©o talking about the trip, reason, concept etc. assuming this is how you convinced Greg to hitchhike Europe lol, youβd done it once

What were you filming all these videos for Tom, just for your mates or have you mapped out your life so well you knew that one day they could be used as patreon incentives! Cheers!
