Foraging with Ben #2 - Wild Garlic and a Surprise Giant Mushroom
🕑 Added 2020-06-16 11:41:04 +0000 UTCThe second of a handful of miniature foraging expeditions with my brother Ben, who has recently been learning how to forage.
This week we set out to find wild garlic in Cuckoo's Nook, Aldridge, along with anything else we could find. That ended up being Vetch, part of the pea family, but that was soon overshadowed by the discovery of a humongous fungus that goes by the name of Dryad's saddle. After checking that the mushroom was 100% edible, we rustled it up with some of the wild garlic we'd harvested. If only we'd brought some butter.
IMPORTANT: Guys, I know you're not stupid, but please don't eat anything that you're not 100% is edible..

Knowing just few edible stuff in wild nature will heavenly impress your city/abroad friends. "If we know all the power of herbs, we would think twice before stepping onto a meadow." I like these vid's...
