London to Budapest - Part #2 - Calais to Bruges

Hi, new patreon here. Just wanted to mention that this video isn't listed under the "london to budapest" tag/playlist. I almost missed it, which would've been a shame. Already, this series has seeded a stubborn idea in the back of my mind to do something similar ;)

Catching up on this series now. Loving it, but there's a Dungeons and Dragons vibe to some of the stories. Put some people around a table and have Tom narrate all the interactions and there you have it. But what would the "mad Brit on a bike through Europe" version of DnD be?

Kevin Skocypec

Cycle paths or Psychopaths? lol (Thoroughly enjoyed this again, Tom!)

Thanks for putting me on that STP song it’s so beautiful. The last year or so I’ve been getting into the 90s grunge so it was a perfect find

You don't need to condense these vids, make as many as you can. I'm really enjoying these

You really need to watch In Bruges. Tremendous film.

And the next time you pass through Belgium, come visit Kortrijk! Me and my brother are huge fans of the channel and we'd love to show you the best bars in town and treat you to some proper Belgian beers. You are more than welcome brother. Would be awesome! ✌️

Tommieboyyy what an epic story so far. Made my day! I'm from Kortrijk but that's close to Bruges. When you said Charlie's Rockets I couldnt believe it! I've been there on a drunken night with my cousin from Bruges and Will deffo revisit it now! I'm happy you enjoyed my country mate. Can't wait to hear about you tripping bawlz in Vondelpark. 😂 Keep inspiring, keep wizardin', you do you! ❤️

Josette Reynolds

Amazing stories, I'd never ever doing something like this but I'm enjoying taking the trip with you vicariously in the past.

Wouldn’t mind if you would make 1-2 more videos more than just one before arriving in Cologne (my hometown). And also: This series really “deserves” to be on YouTube! But anyway.. thanks for making this, can’t wait for the next part!

Abbie

Loving this series! The stories are brilliant

Does anyone else watch this on an iPad and are unable to watch full screen? It says it’s unsupported on my browser but regular YouTube works fine. Just a bit annoying having to watch it small. Cheers

Barry Craig

Love this series mate! I'm assuming you've just hand drawn the map given that you didn't have GPS at the time? What would you say your confidence is that you remembered every turn correctly?

François Sreeves

"You're a shithead! A wonderful shithead"- Love your crazy stories! Keep doing what you do entertaining us and making me laugh!

Personally I preferred seeing more of the maps stuff with you narrating. Maybe having script on the side would work so you could refer to it?

Romysh Bellucci

I could listen to your stories how you got wasted all day... Wish I was around for one of em

Hear hear!

Hey, Tom. Please don't condesce things haha, I think we all can agree that we want the most content possible

Awesome
