40 Miles in the Peak District (my biggest training day for Dribbling Britain)
🕑 Added 2022-08-14 12:32:29 +0000 UTCIt's the 30th of June 2022, the monstrous Dribbling Britain is fast approaching (roughly 11 days away) and there is still lots of work to be done fitness wise. Stag do incidents aside, 25 miles in Wales was a success, but it time to really push myself and get those legs more conditioned for the big one. Coming in at 40 miles (64km) in distance, just over 1000m (3,400ft) of ascent, and taking in some of Derbyshire's and indeed England's most picturesque villages and stunning landscapes, this promised to be a real day out. Watch till the end for the obligatory calamitous GeoWizard twists.

I'm not sure 😭 Can the route be opened in Google Maps and then shared?

Great video, Tom. Can’t wait to see the main event. I passed by this, this morning, thought you might find it interesting. And others here in the comments, of course https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/low-water-levels-danube-reveal-sunken-ww2-german-warships-2022-08-19/

Oh yeah I have heard that album it's sick! I thought you were talking about an adventurer or some sort haha. Thanks Flo!
Can confirm, the Dutch are everywhere. I think over half of us are abroad at all times.

You should do the three castles hike in Monmouthshire, that would be a good training route. Great video, makes we want to visit that part of hhr country now

I'd love to Ed, it's on Google earth so how would I go about doing that?

Well done on the walk by the way! Looked like a right mission and you made it, with all the twists we hoped for!

He was. His album Plantasia resurfaced in the last few years after being reissued. Your music sometimes reminds me of his. I think you will dig it. On top of the music the record has a whole booklet on how to take care of your plants, with caring notes and little drawings. Cute af! Have a dig :)

Amazing, the football part will be tough. Hopefully zero gorse bushes en route haha.

Any chance you could share the route you took? Would love to give it a go.

Caves, Peak District scenery and villages, and a twister. Great trail!

Thanks Max, I’d love that but it would be a bit of a privacy invasion unfortunately
