Having spent the night in some spooky castle grounds, Tom and Verity attempt to take a big off-piste shortcut through hilly forests in a bid to shave off miles. The shortcut would have been a success if it weren't for Tom's thrill seeking antics, which had him eating gravel. Far from civilisation with open wounds that needed cleaning, Tom had better hope that his bike still works..
A couple of days later in Munich, Verity and a bandaged Tom are lured into a wild night out that involved numerous shots of Jägermeister and karaoke songs. They pay the price the next morning when they are forced to cycle to a distant Decathlon..

The Ulm cathedral is internally one of the prettiest churches I think I've ever seen. It also helped that it was 35 degrees out and it offered a nice cool break from melting to the pavement. Funny that you inspired me go on a train trip to Munich, Salzburg and Ulm among other places and then you went there just a few weeks later!
