WALES IV BONUS FOOTAGE #4 - EPISODE 3 (2/2)

This is probably the biggest and best bonus footage video I've ever done, thanks to the heavily condensed nature of that final day.
In this video you'll hear a fair bit of swearing as I battle my way through that relentless terrain and foliage, plenty of thoughts and feelings as I approach the final stages, and LOADS of post mission thoughts from in the car and in the apartment. There are some really nice moments here that rightly or wrongly didn't make the cut.
And with that, my most epic series yet has finally come to a close. Thank you all once again for taking the time to watch these videos and supporting me like you do. This is definitely not the end of the line for the straight line mission...

Hi Matt, it's 100% learning from the last time. The general trend was to reduce farmland as much as possible, especially after the encounter in number 3. In 4 it was all about travelling across as little farmland as possible!

Hi Tom, I've always wondered why each new attempt has an entirely different route. Is it just to keep the content varied for us at home, new sights and scenery, or do you think each route you've tried is better due to iterative improvement as you learn more about what can and can't be done? Something like Wales 3 where you failed making it a clean run due to unforseen tech issues but showed was possible by doing it in two stints could have just been rerun with a fairly high likelihood of success. But that's less interesting for the viewer I suppose so thank you for putting in all the effort and risk to find and try a new line!
