Mission To The Service Station (Barcelona to Berlin #6)
🕑 Added 2023-11-17 17:03:50 +0000 UTC#6 in the Barcelona to Berlin throwback series from the summer of 2016.
I needed to be in Salzburg early next morning to meet the family, but when I was booted off a train in southern Bavaria, I had to improvise. The next few hours were spent trying to reach a service station (Raststatte) before darkness fell so that I could clinch any hope of a lift to Salzburg. It was meant to be a simple enough walk, not the kind of thing you would expect from a straight line mission. Bug infested swamps, charging bulls and mud filled rivers had other ideas.
(Apologies for the shit camera work and excessive swearing)
