I'm pleased to announce that my most ambitious straight line mission to date (by far) is over, and that the editing process can now begin.
As usual you will all get exclusive early access to every episode. I'm aiming for late April for this one, but don't go anywhere because we also have an epic race across the isle of man vs Archie and Adam Fieldhouse later this month.

During the happy hour podcast 217 at about 20 minutes, Tom says England is next for him as he’s been inspired to do something massive like Britain. He says he needs to do it far north, near Carlisle straight across to north of Newcastle. Tom’s previous post also mentions he needs to scout farmland near these areas. 👀. FYI on maps you can see a shit ton of farmland so this also makes sense as it is Toms most ambitious straight line yet.

Gday Tom, i am watching the Norway mission again, and due to the wintery conditions, a thought came to mind.. a collab with Luke from the Outdoor Boys youtube channel! I've heard its hard to get into contact with him, as a couple of the sidemen lads tried, but what a banger of a video that would be!

The last post before this one was looking for help in Carlisle. Carlisle to Newcastle happens to be the narrowest part of England. And Tom's already done it, only kicking a ball rather than a straight line, so he's already somewhat familiar with the area. And these pics would fit for that area, could be Kielder Forest or something. This all points to a straight line mission across England!

Just subscribed because i'm from the isle of man and can't wait for the race across! Exciting stuff. Initially i was thinking the two pictures were in the isle of man so was searching but the 2nd pic just doesn't fit at all 😅

Could it be Estonia? If it is Sweden it must be in the south. Ireland seems too long, about 150km. Nothern Ireland is at least 130km.

Wow! So excited! And I agree with Nicolas above, the scenery definitely reminds me of Sweden. And I might spy a Marabou chocolate wrapper on the second image? We also have freedom to roam which helps, but it's quite wide (almost 10x Wales)
