Annual Christmas mission with Welsh Greg: "Encircling Aldridge"
🕑 Added 2025-01-15 10:04:16 +0000 UTCGood morning $4 Patreons!
Thanks for being patient this last month.
Plenty to come now, starting with this offering.
Twas the day before Christmas eve and I was joined by the returning Welsh Greg for what has now become our annual Christmas mission. This time however, rather than head east into the open countryside, we decided to do something a bit different. What if we encircled our hometown of Aldridge through the patchwork of fields, woods and semi-industrial areas that surround it? in doing so we would set foot in countless places that we never had any reason to set foot in, experience new and slightly mind blowing perspectives of very familiar places and discover things we never knew were right on our doorstep.
Along the way we regale funny stories from our youth, almost accidentally score a goal in football match, encounter a bafflingly out of place herd of animals, and last but not least, find ourselves with no other choice but to leg it through a highly fortified forest designed specifically for nervous and aggressive dogs.
SUBTITLES AVAILABLE - PLEASE USE!
I decided not to go for narration on this one because there wasn't much need for it. Instead I went for quite a natural edit which will hopefully make you feel like you're there with us. There is however a fair amount of mumbling and chit chat between the two of us which can sometimes be hard to decipher, so please use the subtitles for best results!

From Bavaria but not named Lukas. But I would say I enjoyed every moment of that video. Gets me motivated to explore my nearby area. Cheers mate!
Crewneck Lewis
Not Lucas from Bavaria but watching this made me reminisce on all of the adventures I used to go one with my friends when we were younger. Brought up some fond but not so often thought of memories and I thank you for that!
LordLard
Delighted to hear it. If you don't make it to the top of the fire station tower I'll be highly disappointed ;-)
Tamzin
100% this was a top tier video ππ

Thanks for joining Guilherme! Yeah they're basically there to stop people (mostly "gypsies") from stealing anything that you can sell or melt down.. It's a shame, but at least it spices up our adventures!

Been watching your videos for a while now, and I am always so intrigued by the big fences you have to climb, they all look so similar (specially the ones with the three pointy bits at the top). In my country one would not see so many similar fences around
Salim Rashid
as a fellow dc resident is great to hear that Greg has found a home here. Meet and greet needed!
Stuart Duncan
Another legit adventure. Wonderful to see Greg featured again and the ensuing banter. I'm intrigued by all that underground cave system... perhaps you could make that an adventure and scope out that cartel?
Gemma
Squeezing the pennies out of my bank account to fund the Patreon subscription in forlorn hope of a new Welsh Greg sighting has finally paid off! :D
Tremolo
Great vid Tom, thank you! Watching you and Greg just messing around is classic entertainmentπ Also enjoy the parts where youβre just having a drink at a pub, it always reminds me of how fun it is to just relax at a pub with a mateπ»
