SEGMENT HUNTER #2 [Attempting to TOP four more obscure leaderboards]

Last summer I went on a quest to be crowned king of four obscure, seldom trodden Strava segment leaderboards, and I'd say it was a roaring success. So, we're doing it again, but this time I'm heading south-east into the lovely countryside around Swinfen and Whittington, tackling four more curious segments. They include a winding, log-strewn forest trail, a path which felt more like a construction site, a dash along the edge of a prison and a brutal 200m uphill sprint.
The paths were less overgrown than last time. Will this allow me to clinch any of these course records? or will my slightly heavy legs prove too painful?

Yeah I did think that. The GoPro is a bit of a bugger to hold!

It is for privacy reasons - people would be able to work out where I live based on where all my activities start from, even with the bubble. But also I'd be spoiling my adventures weeks in advance!

Do you feel you could push even more without the handicam, maybe a bodycam would shave off a sec here or there? Just a thought. Had sore legs just reaching for the remote after looking at this vid π

Would you be open to sharing your Strava profile? I'm sure a bunch of us would love to follow your activities on there If privacy is a concern, you can add a privacy bubble around your house π
