Thanks to the Patreons who support this channel. When Zetamath sent us this fascinating hunt called Elements of Sudoku, we were thrilled to have a chance to bring it to you, because we love bringing you great extra content.
There are no instructions provided with the hunt – they have to be worked out by the solver!
We will advise that many solvers may need to consult Discord to get through it – I would expect the patreon-chat channel to host some spoilered discussion of the hunt!
There is no prize this time – but if you want to send us your answer, send the writing at the bottom of the page to us, having replaced the question-marks with numbers. Feel free to comment on the hunt too – Zetamath would love your feedback. This hunt is not suitable for our software, but you can print out the pdf or play the hunt in Penpa at https://git.io/J0IYY .

I can manage the puzzles themselves, but I'm not sure what cell the "L", "I", and "N" in the solution arrows indicate, or where the seventh solution digit would come from.
Finally solved it. I found the last box to be the hardest. It is a great puzzle, thank you!
