Hello. Just wanted to say thank you for the latest &Lit video on your youtube channel. As someone whose first encounter with cryptic crosswords stems from your efforts, I'm afraid i couldn't quite follow how Mark went about solving the Time monthly special crossword. However, it doesn't take much for one to realise the impressiveness of the solves and puzzles shown in that video. I have new found awe for this puzzle type and thank you for helping in its discovery!

I'm just pleased that I managed to understand one single tiny bit of cryptic crossword cluing all by myself. The fact that it was a piece Mark missed is almost irrelevant, as it was clearly something he would have known at any other moment.
