Modular Lines - Competition Pack
🕑 Added 2022-07-21 17:41:12 +0000 UTCSuper excited to share with our patrons today this brand new sudoku pack based around modular lines. We owe huge thanks to FullDeck, Missing A Few Cards, JC Godart, jeremydover, Raumplaner and rockratzero for putting this together.
How does this new variation work? Well, it's explained in the packs but, along these modular lines, every set of three sequential digits must contain a complete set of residues modulo 3, i.e. one digit from {1,4,7}, one from {2,5,8}, and one from {3,6,9}.
This post contains the competition pack (18 puzzles in all!). If you race through these there is the base pack as well (see today's earlier post for that).
If you manage to finish all 18 puzzles in this pack, please send us an email to
crackingthecryptic@gmail.com
together with r2c2 from each puzzle in order (no spaces/commas so just an 18 digit string) together with your name. We will try to read the names of the correct entries we receive by 1 August on the channel!

Would it be possible to make alternate versions of a couple of these with more color blind friendly colors? I thought the Wheat puzzle was bad using grey and turquoise which I can BARELY tell apart, and then I get to the penultimate puzzle which has (various shades of turquoise and blue) followed by (purple-pink), this is like something out of my nightmares!
