"Drake in paint" - news update
🕑 Added 2019-03-09 18:01:00 +0000 UTCBet you weren't expecting this! No, I did not just reveal a new skillset, it is a painting made by a friend of mine based on this render. I'll be doing an "art pass" on drake, that's a fancy way of saying I will be improving him. New texture, skin details, improved props (eyes, horns, tongue, etc) making use of everything I've learned over the past six to twelve months. It isn't just about the surface details either, there have been some pending issues to do with his model that can only be fixed by doing a complete "refresh" so i'll be taking the opportunity to take care of that while i'm down there tinkering with him. Admittedly I am not very good at designing things so I'll be using paints like this (and others) to create the new look. On the immediate upside it will result in a couple of nice Drake-themed paints like this. :D

Oh no, not a chance, sorry! Wings are my kryptonite. I experimented with them early on working on someone elses toothless model and.. i'm not going there, at least not yet. :P
