This animatic should give you a good idea of what the animation is going to be like, its not set in stone, but this is what I'm going for.
Missing in this sequence is the collar snapping, which was supposed to keep the dolphin from going down, oops! I am also not sure how I should "end" the animation itself, suggestions are welcome!

Very good! I would say a ending would be lying on his side with the bulge in his belly and maybe his tip poking out of his sheath while the bulge moves?
