Thankfully the prologue is really long (woo!) and there's plenty of little chances to show him here and there, but I think Satine fans will mostly be satisfied with the VN, above anything else, hmm...

If Sal had met and then taken advantage of Satine, I imagine that Satine and Battam would have made up VERY FAST because Battam would have kicked Sal's ass. It would be a disaster, Battam and Sal would not have gotten together and Battam would become very protective of Satine again, like old times. Kind of a dark timeline!

I can see an AU of Sal meeting Satine and robbing him blind lol thought I would be curious because if that AU would have happened would Battam still have taken Sal in or how would things go you know?
