I love this page too. Just making my heart cry so much, aaaaargh !!! ; ; (As for the one about Battam hearing at Bat plans and having his heart shattering. ;___; ) ... Since I've read and read again way before about first chapters, I was really overmelted by this moment. T___T (Same goes about the tragic vanishing of their mother. ; ; )

It's interesting to see your reading of this page as simply "Satine really sucks" when you've read the rest of the comics! :O I think just like Battam and Sal, Satine is a very flawed person who has fallen in to the coven in hopes to make changes he never really can. I would recommend checking out the epilogue game if you haven't ( patron build here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/38487160 ) to get a better picture of Satine. This moment is supposed to be more reflective that Satine literally almost DIED for Battam, and has always loved him as a sibling even through all of this bullshit, and would be utterly devastated if Satine died. So the line, "And I hope one day I'll never have to see him again." is something Battam deeply regrets expressing later down the line because wow, Satine almost dies in his arms later.
