Solanaceae: After All's Early Access is now up on Itchio!

If you missed the initial test run here on Patreon for this build, now would be a good chance to check it out and let me know if you find anything that might need changing before it goes up on Steam-- since I'm very nervous about the Steam release! (Seriously, I'm so nervous today I'm having trouble thinking, oof.)
Enjoy about 3 hours worth of gameplay, meet 2 super fun characters and check out the current versions of gathering and crafting. Then, let us know what you think!
The game is available for PC, Linux, Mac, *and* Android, though be aware the Android version costs $1! Steam version is coming soon!
(If you're a Patron and want the android version btw, just let me know and I'll give it to you for free)

Steam's ratio of hate comments to actual comments is better than others, that is *for sure* and I've gotten a ton of thoughtful and helpful reviews there. But, a lot of folks really will just downvote a game for being gay, oof. (I've had it happen to me plenty of times already.) And, since people just *LOVE* hating trans folks right now, I fully expect some comments to say shit like, "This game is bad because the femboy Satine actually turned out to be trans, it's trash" <-- This sounds hyperbolic but I've already had people actually be mad Satine isn't a "femboy". I fully suspect these comments will be less once the game fully releases and people actually have to *pay* for the game before playing it, but being free-to-play really pulls in some of the most thoughtless commenters around. It can be pretty exhausting. Apologies if I'm over explaining myself, I def appreciate the optimism and the comment (and you've always been super helpful with the game, thank you) I'm just also trying to brace myself, I guess? But, maybe that's a bad way to approach it! I should really try to focus on the people who I know are excited for the game, and nobody else. π° I mean that sincerely!

(I accidentally pressed entered before I could edit, fml) Not trying to be pessimistic, I actually get homophobic and transphobic comments on the regular on Steam and especially Google Play. I'm not pulling this out of my ass, I promise :'(

Steam is full of randos and normies which unfortunately means: homophobes and transphobes abound. *That's* what I'm most afraid of. Yes, I can get those removed, but seeing them is still stressful and exhausting, Oof. Plus, I just have anxiety in general. (Like, diagnosed I'm just a scared little bug, haha)

You really shouldnβt be worried about steam, games that are orders of magnitude worse than Solanacea are still well received on there, so youβll smash it
