Summer '23 Update

I hope you're having a great summer so far. It's been a hot minute and I thought it'd be a good idea to give a more thorough update about my situation and this long hiatus I've been on.
I won't go into thorough detail about it all but essentially I've been a caretaker for my grandparents over the last 8 years off and on. As of July this year they've both passed away and I've been helping family to take care of the estate and get all the legal work and personal effects wrapped up. My role here is more or less over at this point so I'll be traveling back to where my belongings are and focusing on getting my art education going again and my work brought up to present.
September will be largely focused on catching up, getting all the March-May Themies and a few side commissions, as well as the last few King Salmon pieces, finished. I'll be keeping Patreon suspended until October but will be able to resume streaming regularly in the coming weeks.
It's somber news that brings me to where I am now. I loved my grandparents dearly and they were both incredible, selfless people that adored their family and I couldn't be more blessed than to have them. My heart is broken but as my grandma never tired of reiterating "moping isn't an option, we have to do our best with what we have."
Hope endures and I'm eager to get back to work and back to engaging with everyone.

I just wanted to give you guys that quick update on my situation and say a heartfelt thank you for all the support and encouragement. Its really nice to hear from people and see the support for my work.
I hope you all are doing okay and are getting by with what life throws at you.

*P.S. Take some time out to go tell a loved one that you care for them. Family, friend. You never know what tomorrow will bring and if it puts a smile on their face or makes them feel a little better, its worth it.
