As always, you're right on point! This comic is very much about these two feeling stuff out and trying new things-- it goes both ways! Both Sal *and* Battam have things to work out~

I love the Battam background and how it takes over the panels as Sal's mind fills to the brim with Battam thoughts hahaha! Poor Sal, the truth is probably just that Battam isn't used to these kinds of feelings and connections himself and is also still feeling stuff out. ;u; But we often assume that people around us have their crap together and do things for clear reasons when we don't know the Why.
