This is now my 3rd Logan, before this one I did mini Logan and Wolverito :)
The story behind this one...
Inspiration came from the old Logan, at least that's how it's started. These days everyone connects Logan with Hugh Jackman but I was more interested in a version where he is much stronger, shorter and older.... my mind went places and I started thinking about one alternative universe where Logan is still getting old, he doesn't care about stuff or people and he basically destroys everything he touches (in a way), his posture is off, his legs are heavy and his knees are giving up...
I knew that for this one I will make a base, idea was to make some sort of a ruin but also at the same time I wanted the base to look like a muddy floor or some kind of a quick sand that eats everything around him.
While I was teasing people with some images a lot of people asked about this head on the ground.
The head was something I did before I started Logan and I knew I will use it in one of my next models so I started exploring who that person could be... since I went down that depressive road I decided to hint it that this was the head of Daken.
Daken is Logan's son and in one comic he had to kill him - nasty shit...
In this universe he did the same but in a different way and just like I mentioned, his head is sinking into the ground...
I have printed few copies already and unlike most of my stuff this one requires some support. Base is support free but the Logan needs some on his blades/fists and under the chin.
There is alternative version inside the folder where he would require less support but I would really advise that you print the full figure and just be careful when you remove the support. I have positioned my support in a way where i can see the claws sticking out so I can easily cut around them.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have done the same on one test print. I don't include my gcode files because I'm no expert in 3d printing and almost all of my prints are made with the default prusa slicer presets, that way I can do the default testing on each of my models. I haven't test this but maybe you could use modifier boxes and add more infil or more walls on that specific part (claws, fists etc,) Adding the support in a way where claws are sticking out also helps because you can cut around them and see what you are actually doing. Maybe you should try to print model in parts, that way claws don't need any support, just a little bit under the fists. Let me know how it goes!

Signed up, printed, looked amazing then snapped his claws off trying to remove the supports! Do you ever add the Prusa Slicer file with your recommended supports? That would be mega handy :-)

Amazing model; any chance to make a version with the arms cut and maybe keyed so I could print them separate and glue on? Would save a lot of support issues. Thanks!!
