I'm sorry to hear that! Deductibles are the worst :( My back hasn't fully healed from May and I want to go to a chiropractor but somehow nobody will take insurance so I'd have to pay out of pocket. I should just bite the bullet and do it

Eric, thank you. This is a major concern for all Americans, but it seems like so many take the defeatist attitude of 'it'll never happen' or 'I don't want to pay for others health insurance...go get a job, u deadbeat'. I'm on SSDI which includes Medicare, and can tell u that having spent yrs trying to figure out what private ins. option was right for me, and having to constantly change my ins. because my Dr. only accepted certain health ins, and paying thousands every year when i was ill, because I hadn't met the deductible...Ugh, it was horrible. Medicare may not be perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than "private ins", which leaves u no choice.
