True that most people don't change overnight! I'm sure he still has a lot to learn but he's on his way by the end of the film :)

I know some people were thrown by Kusko's continued rudeness. I was, too, when I first saw it. But the more I have watched it the more I have appreciated the fact he didn't do a 180 over night. Like you're not going to change what you were born into based on a couple of acts of niceness from someone else-thinks of the majority of rich people/people in power wouldn't be swayed by that. It takes a lot of work to change someone, totally. And this is one film that shows that!
