Famished v.06a - Inn Update
🕑 Added 2024-01-16 07:11:34 +0000 UTCThe Greenbrook Inn has been added. Hazel can now sate more than just her hunger... so long as she hasn't overindulged!
Several scenes have been added with a fair amount of interactivity with other scenes depending on when/what the player does first.
A digestion/recovery system has been added to the Inn where the player can digest meals faster at the cost of gaining more weight and recover at the cost of said weight.
My next focus will be on making a more balanced combat system and creating the goblin fort which will officially get the player out of the Prologue and begin the first chapter of the game.

My intent is to release stuff as it happens but focusing on getting stuff out between the end of the month and first week of the next month. Also to have polls. If I don't have the update ready by month's end it'll be a dev log to report on its status.

Say Famished, how do you intend approaching Patreon? Like do you plan to like release an update report every 2-3 weeks, being complete random, just post when an update is ready or to make polls?

This game is great and i love the images. Personal preference but I would love to see more prey aspects in the game, specifically if Hazel could force feed herself into the deer lmao

You should write down the changelog here of things added when you release an update, even when it's about just bug fixes.

Mad lad actually bought something instead of eating people. Will be fixed.

For the fun of it, I saved up, and actually bought the cheesecake crate, but I am then able to go back later and have the interaction again with her, and receive a second set of cakes, which, if I have already fed the girl, still triggers the mom to vanish, but with no way of getting her to show up again.

Bug: Had sex with Harper, left the tavern and did the berry quest, returned to see if he reacted to me with a belly full of guard captain, and his door is locked, as if I don't have the master key, despite me never having seen a message stating it was removed. The trigger for getting it seems to be resetting whenever the tavern is reloaded, and instead of checking for the key in your inventory, is based on a one-time conversation that switches it?

Found a few problems: for example, reaching the town gate having eaten both Laura and Harper, Mara will tell you to go to the goblin fort, but both marked names of the locations have [0] written next to them. Also if you have sex with Harper, eat Nelly and then try going back to Harper, his room will be closed as if you didn't have the master key, even if it's in your inventory. And last, I noticed that transfering save files where you ate Laura and Harper to the new version, the game will act as if you didn't and you'll find them at the tavern, despite having the passive for eating them.
