🕑 Added 2024-03-14 00:31:22 +0000 UTCHello all! Here again with another mid-month update. I'll outline what I've done so far and what I generally think is going to happen leading to the next update.
-A lot of my focus has gone into setting up the "big" questline for the next update. [I usually start an update with one "big" quest with a few endings and then work on the smaller stuff]. It focuses on saving a company of Arnorian soldiers from their incompetent commander!
-Outfits! People keep asking if Hazel is going to get more weight stages and I usually reply with a vague notion of another system. THIS is the vague notion made manifest.
-Outfits will have 2 states, Low and High weight. The intent here is to add more variety to Hazel's looks as she devours her way across the world.
-The outfit system is in and there will be one outfit for the next update to show people what they are before I commit to it. Once the update is out and people have a chance to play it, I'll release another poll letting you all decide between a world of outfits OR Hazel getting more baseline weight levels.
-I've generated a great deal of new pictures for various characters in the next update both prey and preds alike.
-There will be 9 new locations in Northern Arnor, my intent is to focus on completing at least 6 before the next update.
-Should creating the smaller scenes and random encounters for Northern arnor prove easier than anticipated I intend to go back to Greenbrook with some content for Anne [Cake girl] and the last two Greenbrook villagers.
-Rukudog over on the discord has made some nice weight gain sprites for Hazel so you all can appreciate Hazel's heft even when she isn't posing in front of a mirror!
-I'm mulling over adding a faction "relationship" score similar to stuff like Fallout: New Vegas to the game that will change how the big players [Duchy of Arnor, House Sorik and future powers] interact with the player and which random encounters appear. Though I'm not sure if that's just adding another layer of complexity that nobody asked for.
-My next focus will be to change a few things around camp, add some dialogue to the companions [Rose and Kat] then create a small scene showing a bit more of where the greater story is going to. Though I may push the next story cutscene back to the Regium update for the sake of getting more smaller scenes with actual vore in them complete.

Mmh, that is true. Considering how big it would be tho, I think it would deserve its own update.

this sounds awesome love the ideas and am keen. will the companions have weight stages or be given chances to eat people (such as rose, as she pops up in the mirror)? love the idea for this, it is awesome and the amount of work ya do is great. thank you for doing this. keen as for this update my dude

Problem there is that this would be the update where stuff like that would come into the most play. Did Hazel help the Sheriff and NOT eat her? Save Captain Blackwood and NOT eat her? The arnorian soldiers on patrol might not be so hostile, etc etc.

For the friendship faction idea...I think it's a tad too complex for now. Until the story progress further, I think it should be shelved for now.
