I hadn’t seen this movie in a realllllly long time and I’ll give it credit and admit that I did enjoy it a good bit more than I remembered the first time lol. Although, my biggest problem with it is the final act. For most slasher films, the final act confrontation with the killer is usually the best/most looked forward to moment. But this final act confrontation with Mickey and ms Loomis always just feels strange and goofy compared to the rest of the film to me for some readon

And the car scene-while SUPER intense-is the only one with semi poor writing, for not grabbing the knife-at LEAST. But my only thought was Sidney was probably more concerned on getting her friend out first-and not losing anyone else. Plus if he was only fake fainting , knife stabbing them might not be as easy as it looks. If they fight back.
