Agreed, and they are probably my second favorite after shamy. The asexual in me really rooted for them when I first started watching. And while Penny and Leonard are messy, they are no where near the level of-let's say Ross/Rachel. For that I am very gratefu!

The crux of Penny's issue is not a lack of love for Leonard, it is a fear of greater commitment, all her other relationships have only been physical, she doesn't know how to navigate the more emotionally vulnerable relationship with Leonard, Kaley does a great job playing her confusion and fear. I can't speak for other people but Leonard and Penny are my favorite pair in the show because they are not perfect, perfect TV couples are mostly boring to me.
