I just learned that the mom talk wasn't scripted. It was Jennifer-who is a mom in RL-going to the director and demanding to have an emotional moment with him because she called bs on that, from what one of my besties just told me! <3

I would also add if you were to read the books ,Leah on the Offbeat is a GREAT sequel regarding what happens to his bestie ,afterwards

There's also Love, Victor on hulu - it's good, and it deals with some of the 'glossiness' the movie had (not accepting parents etc. Plus, Simon and Bram make cameos!

Getting a car at 16 is some rich people's crap heck having your own bathroom screams RICH RICH when i was little I use to dream of living in houses like my friends LOL

ahhh so excited to watch. This is literally one of my comfort movies to go to, and I love these characters so much! Especially Simon and Bram And I love the books, too
