Gadget Hackwrench, and the "Rescue Rangers" show in general, played a not-insignificant role in the formative years of my artistic development, and a partial reason why my first high-profile original character was a squirrel. If fact, my earliest concept followed the RR model of Amy being a squirrel-sized squirrel in the human world, before switching to the anthro world I use to this day.
