This is odd to most people, as his speaking voice is far less present compared to his singing voice.
Cole's tone is far more forward and assured. He has a very "business" voice, often speaking rather factually when interviewed
Despite William appearing as though he would have a very sweet seductive voice, its actually very gentle and peaceful. He cant raise his voice without breaking it, and wouldn't want to anyhow.
Some may think it works against him in his career (lawyer) but having a calmer tone actually is far more persuasive.
