Fun fact- this is the only victim who survived, having been the second to last that Samuel captured.
Though small in stature, Samuel is 21 and chugging through community college. He was taking his walk home from the campus when Sam picked him up. He is very social, and very intelligent when it comes to the social cues of others. His ability to read Samuel's mood through nothing but body language is what allows him to survive. As well as his ability to manipulate his captor as possible as it is.
Luckily, the phone that Julian drops during the scuffle still has the photograph on it. The phone lays open and dies by the morning when it is found by another student attending the same school.
After Julian is reported missing, the phone is charged and searched by authorities for evidence. Just like that, they find the face of their murderer.
