I hope you all had a great festive time, full of gifts and relaxation!
A big thank you to all supporters of this project big & small! Without you all helping out with your word of mouth & kind support this wouldn't be possible.
Before I get into the year plan, lets talk about what's coming this month!
Since I'll be doing a small build this month, the premise is quite simple... FOURSOMES!
There isn't much else to say about this one, but I hope everyone is excited for it as we reach closer to that full harem!
YEAR PLAN - CONTENT & THOUGHTS
Unfortunately not to start things off on a sad note, but it seems our growth was extremely minimal this year (practically non-existent if truth be told). And although I had great dreams and big aspirations for the project, unfortunately the reality has to take precedent.
Since I do not want to be working on this project forever, and at some point it deserves a full release I will likely have to scrap a lot of the plans I had for it. Although I enjoy working on it at some point the unfortunate truth has to be said that the idea I have presented it incredibly popular (at least in terms of the support needed to create the scope of ideas I had for it.)
With that in mind, the majority of the work going forward will be looking into finishing off the game in its most minimal state. There's still quite a bit to get through (especially for the main story!) so we won't be going anywhere for a while!
The first part of the year will involve finishing and implementing the outstanding Space Pimps NPCs. This is my top priority since the kind extreme supporters of the project deserve to see their creations into the game!
Scattered throughout will be various scenes of the crew (going to dedicate Summer to a sexy beach event for the crew!) as well as some lingerie scenes and a Christmas event too.
The latter part of the year will see the last part of our wonderful Princess Shuma as her progression will reach its climax. This will allow us to pave way for the next floating crew member to join (A patron vote will decide who it will be!) After that we will be looking at kicking off the next part of the main story, which will see us learn a lot more about the captain, as well as a few reappearing faces which we could see more intimately!
That said, this isn't necessarily set in stone. A part of me is tempted to ditch the beach event & christmas event in favour of more actual Main Story / Side story, so it isn't necessarily for the game to be considered complete. If this does change, I'll keep everyone up to date.
YEAR PLAN - MECHANICS
The obvious one here is the battle system which I have slowly been working on, but again not sure I'm completely satisfied with. I'll put it out there sometime soon to get feedback and see if its something people are interested in.
If not I can come up with something else. Basically I want to have a better feeling of the "passage of time" which I think this game really lacks. A lot of games have that where it feels like stuff happens that feels like time has progressed, making it mentally feel less rushed in terms of story / character progression. I have some alternative ideas, but for now I'll see how the combat system goes.
I want to bring in some small mini-games for the dates with characters. Shelly's cooking date is an example of this and I want to bring it in for each of the characters. (Catherine used to have that space shooter mini game too!) Lillith's VR boxing could be one, and I'm going to think of ideas for the others too as well as adding in more stuff outside of the regular progression, such as random events & more dialogue.
YEAR PLAN - MISC
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like we are going to hit our animation goals, so what we have now may be it for the full release. Unfortunately the scenes in this project cost more to animate because they haven't been specifically prepped for animation (like in Kingdom of Subversion). That said I want a bare minimum of having the crew voiced (at least with moans) by the end of the year, so hopefully we can make it there!

We may not have the biggest audience here, but we certainly have some of the most loyal and enthusiastic fans around! This is one game i can say with certainty, i enjoyed watching grow its sad to see it not reach the aspirations you invisioned . It's a fun game to experience over all, please continue to do your best we support you either way!

Yes and because of that I’m increasing my pledge. And I’m asking if possible everyone should do the same. I’m pretty late to the patreon thing but this is one of the games that got me involved in supporting creators. This game is just too good in my opinion. Is it possible we spread the word to some people who play porn games and show them on the internet because I know a few ( not personally I just found their channels) who may help spread the word.
Yeah, will def keep my fingers crossed that with addition of a battle system and even more content, that the game will pick up in popularity! But must be so hard to find the spaces to advertise adult games like this. I started with your content on a random find of Kingdom of Sub and enjoyed it and then found Solarian and just adored the characters and the art style to the point I decided to pledge to this one. Crossing my fingers you can get Baku to voice all the Kittenna scenes as she's absolutely perfect for that. But yeah we all understand there's only so long you can tread water. I've done voice work before and would def offer to do it for free as I love the game that much... but I'm a guy, so probably not what you're looking for haha Looking forward to what's to come though, as still sounds really fun, just scaled back on what was previously planned. I'll live in hope for some double Astroline action with Kittenna and Cath at some point because then I'm pretty sure I'd lose my mind haha (though I do have to say from a character stand-point, it does make sense that Mia and Shelly would be the most willing to experiment with the foursomes)

I enjoy the game a lot, and I really wish it were more popular, but I understand what you mean about reality needing to take precedence.

Well, I would really have liked for this game to actually be finished as it was intented. But at least you put all that work into the "Captain meets" series, right?
