I doubt it will be today. I was quite busy today as well. I’ll try and write a bit once I get back from dinner but I think I’d be lucky to finish the first scene tonight. Hopefully it won’t be Sunday tho. Maybe Friday or Saturday. Sorry for the delay.

Hey Tertius, you mentioned recently that you hope to get the new chapter out today. I don't wanna be rude or anything, but I was wondering if that's gonna work out or if we're gonna have to wait for Sunday. Thanks and sorry for the trouble

Hmm good points. Though tbch even if they can’t officially dethrone them feudally they can effectively make their vassals powerless and at their mercy. Dragons you know. Still very good points. As for whether it will be discussed in 38, stay tuned! Thanks for commenting yet again!

I don't know if it will be discussed during the next chapter, but you have mention that if the Velaryon's do end up going down the reconciliation and reintegrate path with House Targaryen, it would be on the condition that the Stepstones would be returned in return for Corlys swearing fealty to the iron throne as the Archon of Tyrosh. And as you said if they do swear fealty it would be with Dorne like conditions I actually think the Velaryon's are in a much stronger position and could push for way more, with Tyrosh being an establish state with its own laws and customs quite distinct from Westeros, one of the conditions could be that Tyrosh would have a far great level of autonomy then Dorne ever had, with its having its own separate laws and with the Velaryon's being able to govern and administer Tyrosh and its Territories without interference from the Iron Throne and to continue planned colonial expansion into areas like the basilisk isles and the cinnamon strait, it's the only way I could see 2 dragon riding houses coexisting for any length of time and even then it would also require constant marriages between both houses to keep such a system going. Now for how the Stepstones could be returned I don't know if you have giving much though into how this would be done but I think there are two main ways it could be done. The best outcome in my opinion would be for the Stepstones to be seceded to Tyrosh itself, this would allow House Velaryon to reverse the effects of feudalization on the Stepstones by forcing the feudal lords of the region into the peerage system, most of the houses that have been given lands in the Stepstones are rivals and since House Velaryon possess Dragons well it sucks to be them, the Stepstones could be the Heartland Tyrosh requires to fully grow from a mid-tier Free city into a large Free City that Rivals Braavos and Volantis in power and prestige. Corlys probably isn't going to be that generous I doubt any large Castles have been built so I don't think he has to worry about them possessing private fortresses, for most simply grant them some descent lands to act as their estates would do, and maybe give them some monetary compensation for whatever small parts of a castle they've built, though I'm sure Corlys would be Generous to his Nephew Maegon Mooton, I also noticed he got the smallest domain with the Stepstones giving him better lands for his estate might go over well with Hose Mooton. The worst outcome in my opinion would be for House Velaryon to be named Lord Paramount of the Stepstones this would cement feudalism in the Stepstones preventing house Velaryon from using the full potential of the region and turning it into Tyrosh's Heartland.
