5 Years Later

Harry had to suppress a grimace at his name change. If it was up to him, he’d marry both of them as Harry Potter, but the laws simply wouldn’t allow for it. The crowd started to swarm around the couple, offering their congratulations. Quite a few people from their Hogwarts year were there, including Ron, Dean, and Megan. Professors McGonagall and Flitwick managed to show up as well. Many of Harry, Tracey, and Daphne’s colleagues from their respective jobs were in attendance too. And, of course, all of their families were in attendance.

That's the tentative plan. I want to give it a bit of time on its own, but I always did envision writing a few additional one-shots in the setting. If it does ever happen, it won't be anytime soon (i.e. not within the next 6 months).

I totally get that, I've tried writing a few fics myself but I've just ended up with a dozen or so half-finished chapters with nothing completed so I appreciate the challenge. I agree the story is better for the fact Harry doesn't have sex with either of them, stories where Harry gets with every woman around him, are all over the place, a well-written story where he gets to the very edge of a sexual relationship with them but doesn't cross that line is much rarer and more interesting as a result. Do you think you would ever consider coming back to this story? It's great as it is but I would love to read some supplementary one-shots

Thanks! I'm really glad that you liked it! I feel I kind of lost the plot towards the end of the story. I wasn't entirely sure how best to handle some of those relationships given that several commenters wanted Harry to have sex with them (which was something I didn't want in the story), so I did leave them hanging a bit. I wanted the Harry/Hermione relationship to be something like: "I'm hot, you're hot, we can both admire each other physically even though we aren't interested in each other romantically." One of the big issues too was that I lost a lot of interest in writing partway through the series (just work, friendships, and relationships that kept me very busy). I think that big gap in the middle of writing this story messed with some of my plans. I do think Harry and Hermione would talk a lot of screen; they are best friends after all. So, I like your idea! Hopefully my future works will go a bit smoother!

I really enjoyed this story, not only was the smut very good but I really liked the way you wrote the characters. If there was one thing I think it missed though it was more exploration of the Harry/Hermione and Harry/Lily relationships. I doubt this Harry would have sex with either of them (although who knows I guess) but for example, Harry and Hermione went from normal platonic friends to seeing each other naked to what they did at the Yule Ball. I find it hard to believe they didn't have a conversation about it off-screen. In my head, I imagine they find themselves alone together immediately after fucking their respective attendants, both naked and covered in cum, and have a good chat.
