Each door-way holds peril; each skulking alien takes one or two more human soldiers with him as he is exterminated.
Lola and her comrades press forwards, knowing they are almost done with this battle. The end is in sight; the outcome a foregone conclusion.
The dead and the dying lie in the streets, in every door-way, having done their part and sacrificed what the Empress required them to sacrifice. Victory is theirs, even if they will never see it.

Wouldn't fancy being those girls that have to try and storm those narrow corridors, I do love how they're practically stacking themselves up though. And that trooper going for the rifle bas... I'd say she's being a bit harsh but considering how many dozens of her comrades she's probably seen go down here I don't think any of them are in the mood to take prisoners.
