I have cleared every browser and I've used chrome, Samsung, mozilla and I still will get a 400 bad gateway. It's been since last year since I've played this game and I understand why y'all are doing this as devs m, but this just makes it so much harder to deal with for every patch. Best of luck to y'all and hopefully find a better solution

If you brought the game on steam you will only have access to the steam content. Versions are not the same, FAFOW DLC is only available with a patreon subscription. Once the DLC is complete, it will be released on other distribution platforms

Clear your browser's cache/cookies. If it doesn't fix your issue try using a different browser. Some users reported it help bypass the 401 issue

Hello dev team, I have downloaded the latest revision of the game, the C one, and i have no issues with the game, I consider that the idea of the installer/downloader app is a great idea. I have a couple suggestions, If I may.... - A progress bar for the installation process - integrate the log-in step in the same app interface - once the game get installed, generate a separate game launcher or remove the red "downloader" box from the welcome image as once is installed can create the initial idea to the users that something failed after the game was closed once got installed. Are just ideas, but I think can help to improve the user experience with the product

As the android package size was over 2GB and refused to install , we had to release a "downloader" package (50MB). It will download the required assets but you have to login again ingame.

By any chance do you think you can reach me on our discord server? It'll ease this discussion. Error 400 means that there's a communication issue between our server and patreon authentication. You're able to login on the portal and download the pc version?

That's a good question, I'm checking this right now. You're using downloader 24.2.0b (check at the bottom right of the main menu)? When you say bad request, it's showing a 400 error, not a 403 ?

ok so issue is once I open the downloader there are two options... download the demo or the full game. i choose full game and takes me to the download portal where i picked the patreon option. then it takes me to the allow/deny part once i pick allow thats where the error shows where it says bad request or the page took too long to respond. Thanks for the updates

I have the steam version and just joined. Is there anyway to move my save to the new patreon version? Also is every update compatible with the last save file? How do I update the patreon version each time without having to start my game over?

It used to be that they were both the same, but now it's not the case. The reason is that the additional content that is being produced is the future DLC, so the patreon version have the DLC content included, while Steam will have the content available as DLC next summer AFAIK

As far as i know, no. The Patreon version is the Patreon version and there isn't anywhere else to get it, but i may be wrong.

Got done now, a tip for those who are facing issues with the android downloader and installer... When you open the downloader and click on download the full version and you get moved to the allow/deny screen of patreon site click allow just once, then return to the downloader and click it till you see a message that the app is being prepared to download the game, a few seconds then, you will see a progress bar, once get downloaded, ensure your mobile screen doesn't get blocked or you will need to start over again. I clicked a couple times in the screen and aftet some moments the game started, this means you won't see any progress bar for the installation process. Hope this helps you all

For android when the launcher attempts to download the full game data it gives me, "keyerror: gameonly_patreon this game cannot be run untill the game data has been downloaded"

So there is still a document folder for the saves but the new update isn't using that file. I went and copied the saves directly into the game folder to work but the saves aren't saving like they did in the last version. Working now though but it's directly in the files now

I'm confused, the save files are in the document but they don't show in the downloaded version of the game? If you don't delete the renpy save folder, you won't lose your achievements ;)

I can download the installer, when is launched a game screen shows up with the option to download the full game, but after that a browser window is open, the same to go the game installers list but appears an error and i can't move to the next screen

Thank you, I did back up the save and updated but it kept saying 20.1.4 still so I went and deleted the game and tried again. Took me to the update launcher and through that downloaded the game. But now there is no tab for the game and the launcher I used didn't go anywhere just sits on the picture of the girl on the andriod icon Edit:resolved Now trying to get saves to apply

Yes, we reworked the android app a few weeks/month ago to move the saves from the system protected android/data/folder to the "public" files. That's why the app ask your permission to write in documents folders. Using any file explorer, you should be able to navigate/copy/paste through your saves

Your old saves should be in your documents folder. Copy them somewhere else just in case

Me thinks the android one is a bit borked. It downloaded a launcher of which when prompted to download the full game the download server is not responding. Last time I downloaded the android version it was the full game not a launcher why the change to something that's very unstable through renpy android

When I try to download on Android I just repeatedly get :"An error occured when trying to download game data: JSONDecodeError: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0) This game cannot be run until the game data has been downloaded". This is inside the launcher that you download from the Patreon link
